There’s nothing more New York than a great food truck. This city is full of awesome food and busy people, and the food truck marries these great traditions together in one convenient food stop. When I’m rushing around the city to and from work or running errands, these are some of my top places to stop for a great bite to eat.
Kimchi Taco Truck
Kimchi serves up delicious (and extremely popular) tacos everyday to hoards of New Yorkers, but this isn’t your standard taco. Kimchi offers Korean fusion food, with eastern flavors combining perfectly with the Tex-Mex classic to create a truly unique taco experience. I love to stop off here for nachos or a taco and I’m never disappointed.
Del’s Frozen Lemonade
This Brooklyn food truck is one of my favorite places to visit on a hot summer’s day- it sells amazing frozen lemonade in tons of different varieties, but I always stick with the classic lemon flavor. You won’t find anything else quite so refreshing to cool you down on those humid summer afternoons.
Souvlaki GR Truck
I love Greek food, but it took me some time before I found a truly great Greek food truck. Souvlaki GR serves up pitas stuffed full of any meat or veggie option you like and tons of fresh veggies for a nourishing and satisfying lunch.
The Cinnamon Snail
One of my closest friends in the city is a vegan, so when we go out together she’s always on the lookout for decent vegan food on the go. Her top pick is The Cinnamon Snail, a food truck with tons of scrummy sweets on the menu. It’s most famous for its organic vegan donuts- everyone raves about these, but you can also grab a variety of delicious desserts and sandwiches. Perfect for a vegan coffee break treat.
